Is this payback for the Holocaust?
Not for those who survived it I fear, but of course for the armchair warriors whose souls are all too recognisable as running on evil and promoting what is unfolding..
We watch as the the man who promised to make America Great Again dances to the tune of the deeply ironic reincarnation of Hitler’s Third Reich that is Bibi’s Greater Israel Project, and it now seems that the millions of lives lost 75 years ago will pale into miniature compared to the potential for global conflict Trump has now, with characteristic noise, delivered.
What is happening is the crime of betrayal of the United States by its Chief Executive Officer in pursuing the interests of a foreign country against those of the US, and in clear breach of promises made. And this is now clear to see for each US citizen and for the rest of us.
Netanyahu, instead of facing his own courts on the corruption charges for which he has thus far escaped arraignment, acts like a species of demonic orchestral conductor, bringing the full focus of Israel’s massive PR investment in the US to bear to control the conduct of US policy in the Middle East. If despising the man and all he has done, with his Israeli and interested Americans makes me antisemitic, as his supporters yap endlessly, then a large number of righteous Jewish people must be antisemitic too! That smoldering brick in their straw house sums up Bibi and his horrible friends.
Whether it really was the IDF or the US who bombed and killed the grand mullah yesterday is totally irrelevant unless you are the bastards running the media narrative.
As it is obvious to most of us that the prospect of Iranian military response has been grossly underestimated by the bombasts in Washington we are now needing to get used to the idea that the world, as we have all known it, is about to change quite radically. Did Trump expect thousands to turn out to mourn the mullah in Kashmir? There has been no glimmer of intelligence in his actions on this. He has plunged the region into a roiling mass of religious war and economic chaos with consequences that pundits may predict but which will remain unforseeable in large and perhaps essential aspects.
I pray for us all.
